Acrobatic Arts & Tumbling Teacher - Willows Dance Company
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and inspiring Acrobatic Arts & Tumbling Teacher to join our friendly teaching team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing young dancers in a safe, encouraging and enjoyable environment whilst maintaining high technical standards.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Acrobatic Arts classes and tumbling training to children of varying ages and abilities, helping students build strength, flexibility, confidence and excellent technique.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Teach Acrobatic Arts classes on Friday evenings (4pm-8:15pm).
- Deliver progressive tumbling training appropriate to each student's ability.
- Plan engaging and structured lessons that promote safe technical development.
- Work alongside our teaching team to support performances, showcases and examinations.
- Maintain excellent communication.
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Acrobatic Arts Teacher (or working towards qualification).
- Strong tumbling knowledge and coaching experience.
- Experience teaching children of varying ages and abilities.
- Passion for developing excellent technique safely and progressively.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Appropriate safeguarding awareness.
