Bar Assistant Manager at The Last Resort, Heaton
We're looking for a friendly, motivated person to join the Lasties management team as an Assistant Manager.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years bar experience
- Minimum 1 year supervisor / people management experience but doesn't have to be in bars
- Must be available to work a Mon-Sun rota, with weekends and evenings being the majority of the shifts
- Love of beer, pubs and people
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all customers receive the best service from all staff while on shift by being consistently friendly (even to more difficult customers) and enthusiastic about what we sell, whilst promoting the same positive behaviours in the staff.
- Helping the manager in keeping the premises tidy, clean, functional, and safe by performing and delegating regular cleaning and maintenance tasks and performing constant checks of the premises.
- Helping the manager in keeping the beer cellar and store rooms organised, clean, and stocked, including performing monthly stock checks.
- Ensuring that all draught beer is of the highest quality. This includes regular quality control (so in depth knowledge of beer helpful), performing weekly line cleans, performing regular glass renovations, and ensuring cask ale is properly handled.
- Helping the manager to manage the staff. This includes being a point of contact to report concerns and grievances to, and covering or arranging cover for staff who call in sick.
- Being proactive in the prevention of harassment and sexual harassment against customers and staff by being vigilant of warning signs, stepping in when necessary, and managing situations that may escalate.

Pay: £13.70-£14.20 per hour
