Painter & Decorator (Self-Employed Subcontractor)

Balcombe Group is a family-run property maintenance and refurbishment business established in 2012, delivering high-standard works across commercial and residential portfolios throughout London.
We are currently looking for an experienced self-employed painter and decorator to support our reactive maintenance, planned works, and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality painting and decorating works across commercial and residential properties
- Support refurbishment and upgrade projects on occupied and vacant sites
- Complete internal and external decorative finishes to a professional standard
- Undertake making good, preparation, patch repairs, and surface finishing
- Work efficiently to programme deadlines with minimal disruption
- Liaise professionally with property managers, tenants, and site teams
Required Experience
- Proven experience in painting and decorating across multiple property types
- Strong knowledge of preparation, finishing, and high-standard detailing
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Own tools and transport preferred
- Public liability insurance required
- Self-employed/subcontractor basis
