16 hours per week – on a flexible basis | £13.53 per hour
Hybrid working: Remote working with some requirement to be in our Head Office in York

What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in our In-House learning team. Your focus will be with our in-house Learning and Development team within Hestia Charity, supporting the administration for the set up and implementation of Talent Management initiatives, across Hestia.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Following processes, setting up administration for pilot Talent programs, including Job Shadowing and Mentoring.
- Following processes supporting administration for other current Talent initiatives including, coaching, Hestia Investing In You Funding, Info Lounges and others as required.
- Advise Managers and Staff of Talent Development opportunities.
- Booking staff onto Talent initiatives / cancelling staff as appropriate.
- Updating the Learning and Development Intranet Page in relationship to Talent Development opportunities, on a regular basis.
- Managing the appropriate inbox and keeping within expected response times.
- Work closely with the Hestia In-House Manager and Lead and all members of the L&D Team.
You're someone who loves the details and understands how great admin underpins great learning. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, as well as collaboratively.
You’ll ideally bring:
- 2+ years’ administration experience (ideally in a learning/training or events setting)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook especially)
- Confidence using digital tools like Zoom, SharePoint, Teams
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (or a keenness to learn quickly)
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- A friendly, proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
