Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling kitchen environment for approximately 6-10 hours per week. The role is vital in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring a smooth workflow. Predominantly Friday and Saturday evenings but flexibility wed-sun is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area
- Washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
- Supporting the kitchen team as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment
- Knowledge of basic culinary practices is beneficial
