As a Contract Support you will be assisting with the delivery of the responsive repairs programme and providing enhanced admin and performance support to both internal colleagues and contractors.

You will have existing knowledge of raising and monitoring works through a housing management system and will be familiar with the use of Schedule of Rates. You will support with the raising and approving of works, alongside analysing completion documentation to ensure effective financial management.
You will be confident and professional and able to carry out discussions with contractors in relation to quality of work and customer service queries.
You will be able to analyse data and produce reports to support internal colleagues in the management and delivery of works carried out by contractors.

More about you
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
Being able to utilise IT packages and system such as Excel and Housing Management Systems is required along with the ability to multitask and manage your time effectively.
At Places for People, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment. Therefore, a basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.
Experience & Skills
- Excellent communication skills,
- Previous Admin Experience
- IT Literate in particular Teams, Excel and Outlook,
- An understanding of property maintenance including the use of SOR's
- Social Housing knowledge,
- The willingness to work towards qualification.
