Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of multi location supported living homes for those with mental health and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a leadership professional with a background in nursing, senior care, or home care to make a meaningful impact on residents’ lives while leading a compassionate and compliant team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the care home team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care aligned with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, including those requiring autism and such care.
- Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with legal requirements.
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance appraisals to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Ensure the care home adheres to all CQC regulations and maintains accurate documentation for inspections and audits.
- Maintain effective communication with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to support residents’ wellbeing.
- Monitor operational budgets, resource allocation, and staffing levels to optimise service delivery.
- Promote a safe environment by conducting risk assessments and implementing health & safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior management within a care home or home care setting, ideally with nursing or assisted living backgrounds.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and medication administration protocols.
- Experience in developing and managing personalised care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and compliance requirements for adult social care settings.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Compassionate approach with outstanding communication skills to liaise confidently with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example while fostering a positive team environment dedicated to delivering exceptional resident care.
