Rutledge Recruitment is currently seeking General Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company based in the Cookstown area.
Role Overview
As a General Operative, you will play a key role in supporting production across various departments, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 7:00am–3:45pm
Pay Rate
- Starting from £12.80 per hour depending on experience
- Increasing to £12.91 per hour following successful completion of a 6-month probation period
Duties Include
- Supporting production operations across multiple departments
- Assisting with the manufacture, assembly and preparation of finished products
- Operating woodworking and manufacturing machinery safely following training
- Preparing materials and supporting production teams to achieve daily production targets
- Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting, moving and stacking materials
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following company procedures to ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and reporting any hazards
- Working as part of a team to achieve production targets
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production or general operative experience is desirable
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
- Reliable, motivated and willing to work across different production areas
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
- Basic written and spoken English
- Forklift licence or other relevant certificates would be advantageous
