Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online English Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective language lessons to students of various ages and backgrounds via online platforms. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a positive impact on learners' language skills. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with adult learners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to individual student needs through online teaching platforms
- Develop engaging lesson plans that promote active learning and language acquisition
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and motivation
- Utilise various teaching tools and resources to enhance the learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and lesson notes
- Adapt teaching methods for students with special educational needs or learning difficulties
- Communicate effectively with students and parents (where applicable) regarding progress and areas for development
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English to Adults
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with Adult students is highly desirable
- Knowledge of specialised educational techniques for learners with additional needs is a plus
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup for online teaching
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple lessons efficiently
- A recognised qualification in TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent is preferred but not essential
- Passionate about education and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment
Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
