Pizza Chef — Brewery Taproom, Hemel Hempstead | Saturdays 10am–7pm
There's something special about a freshly made pizza and a cold craft beer — and at Mad Squirrel's Brewery Taproom, that combination is what Saturdays are all about. We're looking for a passionate Pizza Chef to join us every Saturday and take full ownership of our pizza kitchen.
This is a fun, focused role for someone who loves food, takes pride in their craft, and wants to be part of one of Hertfordshire's most exciting brewery venues.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking pizzas to a consistently high standard throughout the day
- Keeping the kitchen organised, clean, and running smoothly
- Managing stock, performing stock rotations, and keeping on top of prep
- Ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are met and recorded
- Keeping kitchen paperwork up to date
What we're looking for:
- At least 12 months' experience in a food or catering environment
- A confident, creative cook who takes real pride in what they produce
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to keep pace during a busy service
- A positive attitude and great communication skills
