We are looking for motivated and reliable Van Pack Operatives to support the delivery of essential drainage and wastewater services across a range of domestic and commercial contracts. This is a hands-on role working across several key accounts, offering strong opportunities for development within a growing and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out domestic drainage services using van pack equipment (high pressure water jetting units)
- Completing Hedgehog Sewer operations, including installation, de-installation, and reporting
- Undertaking non-flushables counts in line with client requirements
- Supporting ECAS works, including investigation of drainage lines and defects
- Attending reactive call-outs, including blockages, flooding, and emergency works
- Working in confined spaces (Medium Risk) in line with safety procedures
- Completing job reports accurately, including photographic evidence where required
- Maintaining van stock, equipment, and ensuring vehicles are kept clean and operational
- Delivering high standards of customer service when working at domestic properties
Pay Rates:
- No experience: Rates starting from £14.30 Per Hour
- Experienced Operatives: £15.85 Per Hour (Must have a minimum of 5 certificates / qualifications listed below).
- Overtime available at weekends and bank holidays
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than six points
- Ability to work independently from a home-based location
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet operational demands
Working Pattern & On-Call:
- Monday to Friday role
- Participation in an on-call rota (tri-weekly basis) is required
- Flexibility to provide additional cover during peak periods to support service delivery
Vehicle & Equipment:
- The successful candidate will be based from home
- A Volkswagen Crafter van will be provided for business use only
- All tools, equipment, and PPE will be supplied
