Overview
We are looking to recruit an inspiring, passionate, enthusiastic Practitioner to complete our highly motivated and supportive team.
The Ark is a thriving non-profit making Day Nursery in the village of Child Okeford in North Dorset. The nursery is purpose built for 40+ places and set in beautiful surroundings within the grounds of St. Nicholas School with an emphasis on outdoor play. We pride ourselves on offering high quality childcare in a bright stimulating environment for ages 0-11 to include afterschool and holiday club facilities.
The ideal candidate will:
· Hold a minimum NVQ2/3 childcare qualification
· Demonstrate a passion for childcare
· Have a good depth of understanding of the EYFS and be committed to providing excellent care for children.
· Have previous experience in building positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
· To plan and deliver stimulating and exciting activities for the children, both in and outdoors, and to monitor and record their development on a daily basis.
· Be proactive, self-motivated and organised.
Position: Full Time (45 hours per week)
Benefits include 25% discount to the children of staff and 28 days holiday, increasing to 33 days after 5 years.
