Overview
We are looking for an experinaced solar and battery installation supervisor to over see our instatalltion teams this is a hands on leadership role so must have extensive knowledge of the industry
Duties
- Safely assemble and install solar panel arrays according to engineering specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to secure panels and mounting structures
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation and foundation work
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels and ensure structural integrity
- Perform electrical wiring and connections, adhering to electrical codes and safety protocols
- Inspect completed installations for quality assurance and troubleshoot any system issues during commissioning
- Maintain detailed records of installation processes, materials used, and safety inspections
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with excavator operation or willingness to learn safely on-site
- Basic electrical experience or understanding of electrical systems related to solar energy setups
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for precise installations
- Valid driver’s license; additional certifications in electrical work or welding are a plus

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,000.00 per year
