We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Reception & CSCS Administrator to join our busy Training team.
This is a varied role combining reception, customer service and administration, with particular responsibility for supporting the delivery of our CSCS testing service.
You will be one of the first points of contact for delegates and visitors arriving at our Training Centre, so we're looking for someone who is welcoming, professional and confident dealing with people both face-to-face and over the phone.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and checking in delegates and visitors
- Completing the required training to become an approved CSCS test-centre invigilator
- Running CSCS testing sessions throughout the week
- Booking, uploading and scheduling tests using the relevant systems
- Supporting candidates with CSCS card applications
- Advising candidates on the evidence required and their next steps
- Dealing with CSCS enquiries by telephone and email
- Maintaining accurate candidate and testing records
- Providing general reception and administrative support
- Supporting instructors with administration including e-learning receipts, harness checks and sales-related tasks
- Assisting with the general day-to-day running of the Training Centre
We're looking for someone who:
- Has good administration and organisational skills
- Is friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
- Communicates well both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Is comfortable using computers and learning different systems
- Has good attention to detail and can maintain accurate records
- Can manage and prioritise a varied workload
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable with a 7:00am start
- Enjoys working as part of a busy team but can also work independently
- Is willing to learn the requirements surrounding CSCS testing and card applications
Previous experience within a training centre, CSCS environment or similar role would be an advantage, but isn't essential as full training will be provided.
The early start is important to the role, providing reception cover during our busiest period as delegates arrive for training and testing.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied administrative role where no two days are quite the same and where you'll become an important part of the day-to-day running of our Training Centre.
