An established and highly regarded law firm in West Sussex is seeking an experienced and highly organised Panel Remortgage Executive to join its busy Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in remortgage, residential conveyancing or lender panel work who is looking to join a progressive firm with a strong reputation for client service and long-standing relationships with lender panel partners.
The Role
As a Panel Remortgage Executive, you will manage a caseload of residential remortgage matters from initial instruction through to completion, acting for borrowers and a range of lender panel clients.
You will be responsible for proactively progressing matters, meeting service level requirements and ensuring a consistently high standard of client care, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and lender requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of residential remortgage matters from instruction through to completion
- Working in accordance with lender panel requirements and agreed service level agreements
- Liaising effectively with clients, lenders, brokers, estate agents and other third parties
- Reviewing mortgage offers and preparing reports where required
- Ordering and reviewing searches as appropriate
- Preparing completion statements and associated documentation
- Obtaining and dealing with redemption statements and mortgage repayments
- Completing post-completion work, including Land Registry applications
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date file records and case management systems
- Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML and lender panel requirements
- Working towards agreed performance targets and turnaround times
- Providing a professional and responsive service to clients throughout the transaction
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a residential conveyancing or remortgage environment, with the ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently and accurately.

- Previous experience within a conveyancing or remortgage environment
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
- A proactive, client-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
Desirable
- Previous experience handling lender panel remortgage matters
- Strong understanding of the remortgage process from instruction through to completion
- Experience with post-completion and Land Registry procedures
- Understanding of AML and conveyancing compliance requirements
- Previous experience working within a law firm or wider legal services environment
