Edwards And Ward are currently recruiting a catering assistant for a school in West Horsley
20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Term time only 38.2 weeks per year
Previous catering experience is preferred.
The main areas of the role are: -
- To help prepare and cook simple meals.
- Set up counters, serve the food with the appropriate portion sizes.
- Clear/clean dining hall and wash up.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and follow the daily cleaning schedule.
- Maintain Health & Safety and Hygiene standards following the current legislation and company and site policy and procedure.
- Provide other duties that may be required by the Company.
You will need to be able to: -
- Ensure that personal appearance, personal hygiene & basic food hygiene, including uniform and footwear are always of the highest possible standard, in line with Edwards and Ward Company Policy.
- To participate in all arranged Company Training to improve personal development both in the job and within the Company.
- To adhere to Client and Company policy and guidelines with regard child safeguarding.
An enhanced DBS will be necessary for this position. This will be paid for by Edwards and Ward for the successful applicant.
