Duties
- Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizations for staff, visitors, and contractors
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security concerns
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and deterring theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Perform routine checks of the premises, including visual inspections of entrances, exits, and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records for reporting purposes
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining security protocols
Qualifications
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license or equivalent certification
- Experience with surveillance systems such as CCTV; familiarity with loss prevention techniques is highly desirable
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including basic first aid skills
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations confidently
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required
