Job Description:
Exterius Facilities Management is expanding its Specialist Industrial Cleaning division, currently the fastest-growing department within our business. Due to continued demand from major clients across the UK, we are looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our established and highly respected nationwide teams.
This is not domestic cleaning. Our work involves specialist industrial cleaning projects that deliver dramatic before-and-after results for our clients. One week you may be carrying out high-level internal cleaning using carbon fibre pole systems to remove years of accumulated dust; the next you could be steam-removing industrial labels, cleaning plant decks, chutes, or restoring large warehouse floors. If you enjoy seeing the real impact of the work you do, this role can be extremely rewarding.
Working Pattern & Travel
You will typically start the working week from our HQ in Appleby Magna (just two minutes from Twycross Zoo). From there, teams travel nationwide to client sites, usually working Monday to Friday and returning Friday afternoon.
Regular working away is required and this role suits individuals who are comfortable travelling as part of a team. It is usual to work 2 weekend shifts per month if and when client required, usually a Saturday but occasional Sunday
Accommodation is provided in Premier Inn hotels with your own room, ensuring proper rest and recovery. Breakfast and evening meals are fully paid.
Typical working days are around 10–11 hours, with wellbeing and safe working practices taken seriously across the business.
Typical Earnings & Overtime
Additional earning opportunities include:
- £14 Per Hour Monday - Friday
- £19 – Saturday work
- £25 – Sunday work
- During busy periods of the year, it can be expected to work 2 weekend shifts per month (usually Saturdays but occasional Sunday instead but not both)
Training & Equipment
Full uniform and PPE are provided, along with full training.
Team members will be required to attend and pass an IPAF (cherry picker) course, as some projects involve working with specialist access equipment.

About You
This is a physically demanding role that requires commitment, flexibility, and a positive team mindset.
You must be comfortable working away from home during the week and travelling to sites across the UK as part of a professional team.

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- Willingness to work a mixture of day and night shifts
- Comfortable with nationwide travel and staying away from home during the week
Pay: £14.00-£25.00 per hour
