Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Locum Dentist for 4 days (July 21st - 24th) to provide exceptional dental care on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining high standards of clinical practice. Duties
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments using clinical expertise and medical imaging tools.
- Diagnose dental conditions accurately, applying knowledge of anatomy and oral health principles.
- Prepare treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and other restorative treatments with precision.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards throughout all procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to optimise patient outcomes and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
- Knowledge of current dental practices, infection control procedures, and health & safety regulations.
