Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will assist in various aspects of food and beverage service, contributing to the overall hospitality and satisfaction of our patrons. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will be essential in maintaining our high standards.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing food and beverages efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Help with bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving beverages responsibly.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and provide outstanding service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
