As a Caregiver with Four Oaks Healthcare, you will support clients in their homes or facilities by delivering high-quality, compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. Whether it’s helping with personal care, providing emotional support, or administering medication, your role is vital to their safety, independence, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with the client using British Sign Language (BSL) to ensure their needs, wishes, and concerns are fully understood and respected.
Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
Support with daily living activities: cooking, cleaning, errands
Administer or assist with medication as per care plans
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
Support clients with complex health needs
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Accurately document care and report changes in client condition
What We’re Looking For
MUST BE FLUENT IN BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE
Experience in caregiving or assisted living preferred
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
Strong communication skills
A compassionate, respectful approach to client care
Comfortable with manual handling (training provided)
