Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator to enrich the lives of residents through engaging activities and personalized support. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing quality of life, with experience in activity planning, elderly care, and working with individuals with dementia. As the Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will develop, coordinate, and implement a variety of recreational activities aimed at promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Working 30 hours/week, you will be key in ensuring that our residents enjoy a wide range of activities, social interactions and exercise whilst maintaining old relationships and making new ones in their new home environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning within a similar care home setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engaging activities that promote wellbeing while adhering to safety standards.
- You will need to be fun loving, upbeat, and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Experience:

Licence/Certification:
- Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
