Established and respected in our field for 25 years, McKee’s Country Store and Restaurant, successfully operate a thriving Farm Shop which has become a popular destination and often described as a ‘food emporium’. Our passion and drive throughout is producing our farm produce offering family meals, boasting an extensive delicatessen and a 140-seater Restaurant. McKee’s Country Store and Restaurant is a family run business maintaining 80+ staff members. We Farm – Beef Cattle, Lamb, Poultry and Egg. Food traceability being key to winning our customer fan base.
Our farm shop is seeking for a hardworking individual with excellent communication skills to help our customers make informed decisions. We work in a fast-paced environment, so our Farm Shop Assistants will spend most of their time on their feet and should be able to work well both independently and in teams. We're looking for people with excellent customer service skills who, able to respond to customers' questions and needs quickly and efficiently.
We are currently recruiting for a till operator, which will include bag carrying to vehicles.
Duties include:
- Work in retail shop environment.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Keep store adequately stocked.
- Perform cashier duties – cash and card handling.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Follow a dress code.
- Maintaining a clean shopping experience for the customers but also for the other staff members on your shift.
- Any other tasks as requested by management.
Day time work, Monday to Saturday, no night time work , closed Sunday's,
Full time position required - for 4-5 day working week
Typical working hours-
0830-1730
