Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team on a Monday and Wednesday. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tyres efficiently and safely to our customers. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport products to various locations within designated areas
- Load and unload vehicle, including heavy lifting of tyres.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure all items are accurately delivered according to schedule
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate inventory and delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles, including vans.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Basic knowledge of driving safety regulations and traffic laws
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and organization
