About the Role:
We are seeking a fully qualified electrician with proven experience in domestic solar PV and battery storage installations. You’ll be responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining small‑scale solar PV systems in homes across the region.
Required Electrical Qualifications
- Level 2 & Level 3 Electrical Installation Diplomas
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- AM2 Assessment
- Up‑to‑date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
Solar PV & Battery Storage Qualifications
- Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small‑Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems
- Level 3 Battery Storage Qualification
Inspection & Testing
- Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391 or updated equivalent)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on experience installing domestic solar PV systems
- Experience integrating and commissioning battery storage systems
- Strong understanding of domestic electrical installations and renewable technologies
