- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers, creating effective partnerships that support children's learning and wellbeing.
- Lead, motivate and support colleagues within your room, acting as a positive role model and helping to maintain consistently high standards of practice.
- Support the induction, mentoring and development of less experienced team members, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and children's wellbeing remain central to everything you do.
- Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness and compliance across your room.
- Work closely with the Nursery Manager to continuously improve practice, contribute ideas and help maintain an outstanding learning environment.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A DfE-approved Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Experience leading a room or supporting colleagues is desirable, although experienced practitioners looking to progress are encouraged to apply.
