Live-in Carer – Job Opportunity
At canary Care Services, We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-in Carer to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care to elderly individuals and people living with disabilities in their own homes.
We are looking for someone who is patient, trustworthy, and committed to promoting independence while ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support with daily hygiene needs
- Administering or reminding clients to take medication as required
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with meal planning
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Carrying out light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assisting with daily living activities to promote independence
- Providing specialist care for clients with dementia or age-related conditions (where required)
- Maintaining clear communication with families and care coordinators
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care (live-in care preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and patient approach
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a home setting
- Flexibility to meet individual client needs
- Right to work in the UK (if applicable)
