Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Bench joiners/Cabinet makers to join their team, specialising in the fabrication and assembly of bespoke joinery-cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery manufacturing and the use of various hand tools, power tools and machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality joinery projects, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every task. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently within a team environment.
Duties
- Fabricate customised joinery items according to technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble structural elements using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products to facilitate smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Collaborate with managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines and quality standards if required
Skills
- Proven experience in joinery fabrication and assembly
- Competence in operating power tools including drills, sanders, routers, and saws
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
