Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all front-of-house areas, including lobbies, reception areas, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly, including floors, tables, chairs, windows, and fixtures.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with setting up or clearing tables during busy periods to support overall guest experience.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Respond swiftly to any cleaning requests or spillages to maintain a tidy and inviting space at all times.
- Support team members with additional duties as needed to keep the front of house running smoothly.
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable.
- Proven janitorial experience demonstrating knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and respond courteously to guest inquiries.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts.
