Duties
- Monitor event premises continuously using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or potential security threats
- Conduct thorough access control procedures, verifying credentials and managing entry points for staff, vendors, and attendees
- Perform regular patrols of the venue to maintain visibility, deter misconduct, and respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing crowd behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Provide first aid assistance when needed, ensuring prompt response to minor injuries or medical concerns
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and communicate effectively with emergency responders if necessary
- Enforce venue policies and safety regulations to uphold a secure environment throughout the event duration
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and unauthorized access
- Ability to perform vigilant CCTV monitoring and conduct visual inspections confidently
- First aid certification or experience in providing basic medical assistance during emergencies
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting, crowd management, and liaising with emergency services
- Keen observational skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
