This programme allows you the opportunity to work with a real employer while also learning aspects of the childcare job role to gain a childcare Level 2 Apprenticeship. You can work within one of our 6 locations:

What does the job role include? The job role of an apprentice is to support the practitioners and educators in the setting to carry out there job in caring for children aged 3 months - 5 years old. This will include; setting up and tidying away activities, supporting lunch times, sorting out laundry and dishes, reading stories to children and splashing in muddy puddles while the children are laughing at how high the water jumps up with lots more.
An apprenticeship is a valuable and recognised programme where apprentices learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time. There are no set entry requirements for Apprenticeships, but you do have to be aged over 16. The course will last for 15 months and during this time you will attend 1 day at our training centre learning off the job and 4 days in one of our nursery settings.
The next natural progression would be to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship for the Early Years Educator.
