Warehouse Apprentice
Location: Melton (near Hull, HU14 3HJ)
Salary: National Minimum Wage (age dependent) + 30 days holiday + pension + staff discount across Heron Foods & B&M

As a Warehouse Apprentice, you'll support our Warehouse team in the day-to-day running of our distribution operation. You'll gain hands-on experience across a range of warehouse activities while working alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, build your experience and earn a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.

About the Role
You'll be part of our Warehouse team, helping to support the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution centre.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll learn how warehouse operations help ensure stock is received, stored and supplied accurately to stores across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Warehouse team with day-to-day operational activities

Assisting with the receipt, storage and movement of stock

Learning warehouse systems and processes

Helping to maintain accurate stock records

Supporting stock control and inventory activities
-
Assisting with order picking and general warehouse duties
-
Following health and safety procedures and warehouse standards

Providing general support across the warehouse operation as required
