Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quartz Worktop Template / Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, templating, and fitting quartz worktops to ensure a perfect finish for our clients’ kitchens and bathrooms. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision craftsmanship, delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of construction skills to create stunning, durable surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Measure and create precise templates for quartz worktops based on client specifications and site conditions
- Cut, shape, and fabricate quartz surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Install fitted quartz worktops securely, ensuring proper alignment and finish according to design plans
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate execution of the work
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace during all phases of measurement, fabrication, and installation
- Conduct quality checks throughout the process to identify and rectify any issues promptly
- Follow schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure adherence to specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, or fabrication is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery used in surface fitting and cutting
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or construction plans for precise execution
- Experience with plumbing, electrical work, roofing, plastering or welding is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical instructions accurately
- Knowledge of construction painting and masonry techniques beneficial for site preparation tasks
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all aspects of templating and fitting
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials safely and stand for extended periods during installation tasks
