We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Handler to join our busy warehouse team on an ongoing assignment of at least 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment where safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate both electric and gas-powered forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
- Unload delivery vans and load lorries.
- Carry out a range of warehouse duties, including:
- Pallet wrapping
- Loading lorries
- Clearing conveyor belts
- Operating pallet trucks throughout the warehouse
- Assist with general warehouse operations as required.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Valid and up-to-date RTITB - accredited Forklift Truck Certificate.
- Valid RTITB Registration Number.
- Qualified to operate B1 Category Electric and Gas Forklift Trucks.
- Previous forklift operating experience is desirable.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to undertake a variety of warehouse duties.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Days: MON - FRI from 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm (25h a week)Hourly rate
- £13.29/ph (between 6am-7pm) and£14.72/ph (between 7pm-10pm)
