What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Support Worker to provide dedicated 1-1 care for an individual with complex needs, inculding epilepsy and challenging behaviours. To have a good understanding of effective communication in a professional manner with residents, colleges and families and other professionals. To support residents to partake in meaningful activities and promote independence as far as they are able. Keep accurate daily notes, and partake in the review process.
The Role: 1-1 Complex Care and Support Worker( Epliepsy and Challenging Behaviour)
Authority to work in UK is essential. Previous care home experience is essential.
- Monitor for seizure activity, complete accurate logs.
- Behaviour Support, implement positive behaviour plans to manage, de-escalate and reduce challenging behaviours.
- Community engagement, accompany the individual on social outings, ensuring their saftey whilst promoting independance and life skills.
- Daily documentation, maintain precise records of medication administration, activities, behavioural triggers, and daily progress notes
- Driver is essential for this role
