Duties
- Offer personalised support tailored to individual needs, including assistance with daily activities and routines
- Engage in mentoring roles to encourage positive behaviour and self-esteem
- Support children and adults in educational or recreational settings, facilitating learning and social interaction
- Assist with organising activities that promote personal development and social inclusion
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support plans
- Maintain accurate records of support provided, progress, and any incidents or concerns
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times
Skills
- Experience or interest in working with children or vulnerable individuals
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to teach new skills or concepts in an engaging manner
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others realise their potential
- Organised approach to managing responsibilities and maintaining records
- Flexibility to adapt to different situations and individual needs
