Overview
We are seeking energetic and vigilant Steward/Security Officers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, managing access control, and delivering exceptional guest services at high-profile events. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. This job will give you the opportunity to work some of highest profile events throughout the UK and become part of the striving and ever busy industry.
Training is not essential, on the job training and support will be provided throughout the contract.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry points to verify credentials and manage access for guests, staff, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential security issues
- Assist guests with directions, inquiries, and provide a friendly presence throughout the event
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services as needed
- Enforce venue policies and safety regulations to maintain order and security
- Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and access records during shifts
- Collaborate with management to implement security procedures and improve guest experience
Skills
- Strong management skills to oversee crowd control and safety operations effectively
- Experience in hospitality or event security environments is highly desirable but not essential.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and composed in fast-paced settings
- Good communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
