About the Role
We are seeking an organised, professional, and proactive Paralegal to join our Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their legal career while supporting experienced Family Solicitors with a varied and interesting caseload.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting our solicitors in the day-to-day management of family law matters, providing vital administrative and legal support to ensure clients receive an exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Family Solicitors with the management of their caseloads.
- Drafting legal documents, including court applications, witness statements, and correspondence.
- Preparing legal bundles and supporting documentation.
- Assisting solicitors in taking instructions from clients and recording accurate attendance notes.
- Maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date client records.
- Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, experts, and other professionals.
- Managing diaries, appointments, and key case deadlines.
- Ensuring compliance with firm procedures, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality obligations.
- Supporting the team with general administrative and case management duties.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or in a similar legal support role.
- An interest in Family Law and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and empathetic manner when dealing with clients.
- The ability to follow procedures and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills and experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: £23,660.00-£30,000.00 per year
