Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, pastries, and healthier options
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy morning hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Assist in plating dishes attractively and ensuring consistency across all breakfast offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude
- Experience with meal preparation for large groups preferred
- Familiarity with serving procedures and guest interaction is a plus
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holiday shifts as needed
