Due to internal progression, we are seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our 236-bedroom Hotel in London Waterloo, leading a team of engineers and skilled tradespeople. This is a key leadership role within our back-of-house function, ensuring our building, systems and team perform to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance engineers and tradespeople
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the property
- Manage building services including appliances, plumbing, electrical and general fabric works
- Schedule internal teams and external contractors effectively
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and company policy
- Monitor productivity, allocate resources efficiently and support workload planning
- Drive team engagement, performance and continuous improvement
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior supervisory role
- Strong background in property or hotel maintenance
- Proven ability to manage a large property and competing priorities
- Solid hands-on knowledge of general maintenance, white goods, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and leadership skills
- Self-motivated, structured and solutions-focused under pressure
