Duties
- Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, safety, and presentation standards
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and upselling products to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Support with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and ensuring ingredients are stored properly
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to guarantee a safe dining environment for customers and staff
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service, fostering a friendly and energetic atmosphere
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience that demonstrates comfort working with food equipment and techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene and sanitation
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent customer service
