Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of building components using hand tools and power tools
- Support senior carpenters in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
- Participate in joinery tasks such as framing, door and window installation, and cabinetry work
- Conduct heavy lifting to move materials safely around the worksite
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety on-site
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop carpentry skills
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety standards
- Prior experience or coursework related to carpentry, joinery, masonry, plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
