We’re looking for a friendly organised Bar Supervisor to help shape and run our beautiful venue from drinks to food.
You would be a great bartender, be able to Barista and (although this next element isn't essential) we would love you to be involved within our art area
The Role
This is a hybrid position combining responsibilities. Input into our greater vision would also be valued. We are a small team of 6-8 people.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise bar staff, including ordering, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of service quality.
- Oversee food production processes, from preparation to presentation, maintaining consistency and adherence to recipes.
- Ensure guidelines are followed
- Manage and undertaking daily kitchen / cafe operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, setting an example of culinary excellence for the team.
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Provide training and mentorship to all team members to develop a crossed skilled team and promote a cohesive working environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organisation, implementing improvements where necessary to optimise efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a busy café / coffee shop / kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Strong background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of culinary practices and hospitality standards.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through high-quality food offerings.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by operational demands.
