Jesus Feeds is a community charity focused on providing free meals and outreach support. Trustees are legally responsible for guiding and protecting the charity.
Jesus Feeds is a faith-based charity initiative birthed in June 2026 in the United Kingdom through a calling from Jesus to serve free meals globally with love, compassion and faith.
Our mission is simple: to bring hope through food and demonstrate the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness and community support.
As we prepare for our official launch in soon, we are prayerfully seeking committed and passionate individuals who feel called to serve as Trustees and help guide this vision from the very beginning.
About the Trustee Role
We are currently seeking Volunteer Trustees (minimum 2 positions) based in the United Kingdom to help oversee and guide the direction of Jesus Feeds.
As a Trustee, you will not be involved in day-to-day cooking or event delivery. Instead, you will serve in a governance and leadership role, ensuring the charity is well-run, legally compliant, and true to its mission.
Trustees play a vital role in shaping the future of Jesus Feeds, ensuring it grows with integrity, accountability, and strong Christian values.
Our Responsibility to Trustees
Jesus Feeds will:
- Ensure all Trustees are supported with clear information and guidance
- Provide full transparency in all plans, activities, and decisions
- Respect your time, voice, and contribution equally
- Operate in a spirit of unity, faith, and accountability
- Ensure meetings are organised, structured, and purposeful
Trustee Responsibilities
As a Trustee of Jesus Feeds, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the charity operates in line with UK charity law and Charity Commission requirements
- Overseeing the vision, mission and long-term direction of Jesus Feeds
- Making key decisions regarding charity activities, events and development
- Ensuring proper oversight of any funds, donations, or resources
- Safeguarding the integrity, safety and reputation of the charity
- Attending trustee meetings and contributing to collective decision-making
- Acting in the best interest of the charity at all times
Trustee Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are:
- 18 years or older
- Passionate about community service and faith-based outreach
- Responsible, reliable, and willing to commit time to meetings
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a leadership team
- Based in the UK (preferred for practical governance purposes)
