Duties
- Plan and deliver energetic street dance lessons tailored to different skill levels and age groups
- Demonstrate dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills clearly and enthusiastically
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages students to express themselves freely
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Organize performances or showcases to celebrate student achievements and boost confidence
- Maintain a safe dance space by ensuring proper warm-up, cool-down, and injury prevention practices
- Collaborate with other instructors or event organizers for special classes or community performances
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching street dance styles such as hip-hop, breakdance, locking, or popping
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques, choreography development, and performance skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of all ages
- Ability to demonstrate high-energy routines with clarity and enthusiasm
- Flexibility in scheduling classes during evenings or weekends as needed
- Certification in dance instruction or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory
- Passion for inspiring others through movement and fostering a lively dance environment
