Job Summary
Highborder Lodge is a residential dementia care home providing personal care to up to 40 residents. The service provides support to people requiring care and support, some of whom live with Dementia.
We are seeking a positive and highly organised part-time Housekeeper to join the team to keep our Home clean and tidy. This role is vital in keeping the residents comfortable and calm in their Home.
You will be required to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff, supporting residents’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the home.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across the entire home in line with the highborder lodge's "One Home" approach. This approach promotes teamwork across all departments, where staff support one another as needed to ensure the smooth running of the home.
Hours of work
Week 1 - 20 hours across Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 - 20 hours across Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Your duties will include
- Cleaning and sanitising all areas across the home
- Carry out daily cleaning of Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Communcal Areas, Corridoors and Stairways to a high standard
- Make and Change beds daily whilst following infection control procedures
- Supporting colleagues in other departments when required
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and responding flexibly to the needs of the home
- To works collaboratively to ensure that all residents receive consistent, high-quality care and that the home operates efficiently as one team.
Our ideal Housekeeper will be reliable, organised and able to work independently with a positive and friendly disposition. Experience is desired, but not essential.
