Summary
We are seeking an Experienced 360 Scrap Handler Operative to join our team at our Exeter site. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient handling and processing of scrap metal, supporting our mission to promote sustainable recycling practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate 360 Scrap Handler to load, unload, and move scrap metal efficiently.
- Loading Bulk Tippers
- Ensure safe and proper handling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the organization of scrap materials for processing.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Maintain accurate records of materials handled.
Experience
- Scrap Handler Experience and/or Ticket Essential
- Scrap Metal Experience
- Experience loading Bulk Tippers, Containers and Rollons
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment maintenance.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience in metal recycling or waste management is a plus.
Hours 7am - 16.30pm Monday to Friday. Based at EX2 8LN
