Beeston Fields Golf Club is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Pro Shop team.
We are open to appointing either one full-time member of staff or up to two part-time members of staff, depending on the availability and suitability of applicants.
The Role
The successful applicant will help us provide an excellent experience for our members, visitors and guests. The role will primarily involve delivering outstanding customer service and supporting retail sales within the Pro Shop.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming members, visitors and guests
- Delivering friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting customers with golf equipment, clothing and accessories
- Processing sales and operating the till
- Maintaining attractive, well-stocked shop displays
- Responding to telephone and in-person enquiries
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the Pro Shop
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking with customers
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer service
- Willing to learn about the products and services we offer
- Flexible and available to work some weekends and bank holidays
Previous retail or customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Knowledge of golf is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Position Details
Employment: One full-time position or up to two part-time positions
Full-time hours: Approximately 35 hours per week, with some seasonal variation
Part-time hours: To be agreed based on availability
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
Start date: To be agreed
Location: Beeston Fields Golf Club, Nottingham
