We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Controller to join our finance team. As Financial Reporting Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Finance Director and wider business, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reports.

Producing accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining a strong financial control environment.

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.

Delivering insightful financial analysis and commentary to support business performance.

Liaising with internal and external auditors.

Identifying financial risks and opportunities and providing recommendations.

Supporting finance transformation initiatives and driving continuous process improvements.

Building strong relationships with finance and operational stakeholders across the business.
We're seeking someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
You'll ideally have:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or equivalent experience.

Significant experience in financial reporting and financial control.

Strong knowledge of management accounting, forecasting and balance sheet management.

Experience working within a complex or multi-entity organisation.

Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

The confidence to challenge processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.

Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools would be advantageous.
