Tasks include:
- Complete the routine Health & Safety checks(daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually)on the Infraspeak app. Training will be Training will be provided on how to use the Infraspeak App which is an online system the home uses to ensure Health & Safety compliance. Complete the homes monthly Health & Safety audit & report any issues to the Deputy Manager/Manager.
- Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the home including any faults or repairs which may need to be corrected within your capability and company guidelines.
- Ability to use basic tools and equipment
- Give support to all heads of departments in looking at areas that may need preventative maintenance tasks to the best of your ability.
- You are required to performing regular checks, carrying out repairs and, when needed, contact engineers or service agents
- You will be confident in doing fire, basic electrical and appliance checks.
- Ensure that the premises and grounds are being kept to the agreed maintenance standards.
- Perform weekly / regular checks, carrying out repairs and, when needed, contact engineers or service contracted by CNH.
- Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests and concerns raised by residents, family members and team members according to the homes reporting maintenance request log and systems – Maintenance Book
- Take receipt of deliveries and store items or goods pertaining to maintenance and other departments
- Ensure that all allocated equipment is kept safe and in working order.
As the home’s Maintenance Person, you’ll be a valuable member of their friendly, close-knit team, promoting the well-being of the residents and the successful running of the home.

- Microsoft 365 / Office including Excel and Word and Internet Explorer
- Care Vision Software
The successful candidate will have to work in a sensitive manner as all information will be confidential, both to internal and external colleagues as well as others. The successful candidate should be reminded that when working with vulnerable persons or in an environment where there are vulnerable persons, they will have to act accordingly.
Pay: From £12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
